Jasmine Riddell
After exploring different corners of Canada, Jasmine found her way to Saskatchewan where she now proudly calls home. With a background in social work and a passion for helping others feel seen and supported, she brings compassion, authenticity and a deep appreciation for healing.
Jasmine was raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and spent several years exploring different provinces across Canada. Through these experiences, she came to realize that her heart was in Saskatchewan, which she now proudly calls home. Jasmine completed her Bachelor of Social Work in Ontario and is currently completing her Master of Social Work. Her passion for this work stems from a belief in the power of connection and holding space where individuals and families feel supported, respected, and seen.
Jasmine values spending time in nature and being with her family. She believes that healing happens in many different ways and that connection is an important part of that process. She is committed to lifelong learning and continues to grow both personally and professionally through her time spent in community and with others.
When Jasmine was asked to participate in HMS, she was excited to be involved in a program where healing takes shape outside of traditional counseling and beyond the confines of four walls. Because of this, she has begun to witness the healing that occurs through land-based practices and finds herself deeply moved by the meaningful connections that develop between people and horses.
Jasmine carries a deep respect and appreciation for the learning and healing that take place on the land and through the guidance and support of the horses. She is honoured to witness the growth and healing of those who participate in HMS, and is grateful to be part of a community that values healing through the interconnection of heart, mind, and spirit.
